CinemaNext equips CiNey’s two auditoriums in Paris with new seating

CinemaNext supplied and installed the seating for the two auditoriums of the CiNey, a brand-new neighbourhood cinema located at 126-128 Boulevard Ney in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. The project forms part of the conversion of a former DIY store into a 1,500-square-metre cultural venue, which opened to the public in April 2026.

Auditorium 1 features 82 seats, while Auditorium 2 is equipped with 86 seats. These installations provide audiences with comfortable seating tailored to the cinema experience, while complementing the layout and identity of each auditorium.

The Ezcaray Príncipe model chosen for this project features a double-support structure that provides additional protection for users while enhancing the overall design, with all seat backs finished in wood.

The customised logo further gives the auditorium a distinctive and elegant character, helping create a unique space that audiences will want to return to.

CinemaNext collaborated on the development of the concept and on the details that make both the selected seating and the cinema itself truly unique.

CiNey’s two screens are designed to host regular screenings as well as debates, educational screenings and film-related events. CinemaNext brought its expertise in auditorium fit-out and integration to ensure seating comfort, clear sightlines to the screen and accessible circulation.

With this equipment, both auditoriums offer seating designed for the contemporary cinema experience, within a venue that also includes a post-production studio, a recording studio and a multi-purpose space.
